The Somersworth Youth Safe Haven/ Police MiniStation mentors youth ages 6 - 18 in an afterschool homework lab, activities program, gym program, community service opportunities, and a six week Summer Program.

We aim to give youth the tools they need to grow up to be who they are.

One of our main focuses is giving youth a place to do their homework and get help if they need it.

There are always staff and volunteers on hand to make sure the youth's homework is all done.

EVERY FRIDAY AT 3:45

“Stay on Track” is a nationally sponsored program that is an innovation in substance abuse prevention education for middle school students 6th – 8th grades that combines prevention science principles and popular motor sports appeal through 12  45-minute interactive lessons in classrooms, after-school and other youth settings to reduce future substance abuse by reinforcing the drug-free commitment of America’s youth.


SYSH/ PMS Programs are open to all Somersworth Housing Authority Residents.

The Somersworth Youth Safe Haven/ Police Mini Station is a total partnership between the Milton S. Eisenhower Foundation of Washington D.C., The Somersworth Housing Authority, and the Somersworth Police Department. This program is based on the model of the Milton S. Eisenhower Foundation's Youth Safe Haven as a juvenile crime prevention program.
