During the school year our primary focus at the
Somersworth Safe Haven is academics.

 

During the Summer however, our primary focus is
recreation and community service!

The children/ youth work hard all year to get to Summer Vacation and we reward them with a fun filled program to relax and recharge for the upcoming school-year!

The Somersworth Youth Safe Haven/ Police Mini Station is a total partnership between the Milton S. Eisenhower Foundation of Washington D.C., The Somersworth Housing Authority, and the Somersworth Police Department. This program is based on the model of the Milton S. Eisenhower Foundation's Youth Safe Haven as a juvenile crime prevention program.
